  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup shredded carrots Feel free to add other veggies like cucumbers for extra crunch!
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • to taste fresh basil leaves Don't hesitate on the fresh basil; it adds a fresh pop of flavor!
  • as needed Rice paper wrappers Soften in warm water before filling.

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. Cook the ground beef in a pan over medium heat until brown.
  2. Stir in the soy sauce and hoisin sauce until fully cooked.
Adding Vegetables

Notes

These rolls are best enjoyed fresh, but if you have leftovers, they’ll keep for about 2-3 days in an airtight container in the fridge. Freeze unfilled rice paper wrappers for up to 3 months.
