Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Beef strips Use flank steak or any preferred cut.
  • 4 stalks Scallions Chopped.
  • 1/2 cup Hoisin sauce For marinating the beef.
  • 4 sheets Flatbread Can substitute with tortillas or lavash.
  • 2 tablespoons Oil for frying Use any neutral oil.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Marinate the beef strips in hoisin sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Lay the flatbread out and place some marinated beef strips and chopped scallions on it.
  3. Roll the flatbread tightly around the filling.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Place the rolled flatbread in the pan and cook until golden and crispy on all sides.
Serving
  1. Serve as an appetizer or main dish with a drizzle of extra hoisin sauce for dipping.
  2. Garnish with sesame seeds for an elegant touch.

Notes

For extra crunch, add a touch of cornstarch on the beef before rolling. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days, and reheated in a pan.
