Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound beef steak (such as sirloin or flank) Any tender cut of beef can be used.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free version.
  • 1/4 cup honey Add sweetness to the marinade.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking and added flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the marinade flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger Adds a zesty kick.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • as needed Green onions, sliced (for garnish) Optional garnish for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the beef steak into bite-sized chunks.
  2. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the beef chunks to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the beef from the marinade and sear the chunks in the skillet until browned and cooked to your liking, about 3-5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate longer. Experiment with different cuts of meat and add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. Serve with toothpicks for appetizers.
