  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced Best when in season.
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows For sweetness and texture.
  • 1 cup whipped topping Use cool whip or homemade if preferred.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt.
  • 1/4 cup sugar Optional, adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, mini marshmallows, and sugar (if desired).
  2. In another bowl, mix the whipped topping, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently fold the whipped mixture into the strawberry mixture until well combined.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store in the fridge for 3-5 days. For a sweeter version, adjust the sugar to taste. Adding blueberries or bananas can also enhance the salad.
