  • 1 piece pie crust Use pre-baked for quicker option.
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 cup diced ham Can substitute with turkey bacon.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or Swiss.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg Optional for flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well blended.
  3. Stir in the chopped spinach, diced ham, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg if you're feeling fancy.
  4. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pour the egg mixture directly into the crust.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve the quiche warm or at room temperature. Pair with a side of mixed greens dressed in vinaigrette. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
