Preparation
- Cook sushi rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, add rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Mix well and let cool.
- Press the cooled rice into a square mold to form crispy rice squares.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the rice squares until golden and crispy on both sides.
- In a bowl, mix the diced tuna with mayonnaise and sriracha to taste.
Assembly
- Top each crispy rice square with a spoonful of the spicy tuna mixture.
- Add a slice of avocado on top of the tuna if desired.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. For best texture, enjoy fresh. You can swap tuna with diced salmon or tempura shrimp for a fun twist.
