  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or frozen, fully thawed if frozen
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing
  • 1 lemon Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the shrimp and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in the lemon juice and stir to combine.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

If you have leftovers, they’ll last in the fridge for about 2-3 days. Gently reheat in a skillet to avoid rubbery shrimp. For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine with the lemon juice.
