Ingredients
  

For the Pork Chops
  • 4 pieces pork chops Bone-in chops recommended for extra juiciness.
  • 1/2 cup honey Can substitute with agave or maple syrup.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use tamari for gluten-free or coconut aminos for a sweeter taste.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving
  • Cooked rice or mashed potatoes To soak up the sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the pork chops in the slow cooker and pour the honey garlic mixture over them.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender.
Serving
  1. Serve the pork chops over cooked rice or mashed potatoes, spooning some of the sauce over the top.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the pork in the honey garlic mixture for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the fridge, or frozen for 2-3 months.
