  • 1 piece pie crust Store-bought or homemade
  • 6 pieces eggs Large eggs preferred
  • 1 cup milk Whole milk or preferred type
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice) Choose your favorite cheese
  • 1 cup cooked diced bacon Cooked until crispy
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion Onion can be yellow or white
  • to taste Salt and pepper Use according to preference

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the cooked bacon, chopped onion, and shredded cheese evenly in the pie crust.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the filling.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and golden on top.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with a side of fresh fruit salad or drizzle with hot sauce. Wrap tightly for storage; keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for about a month. Reheat in the oven for best quality.
