  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Use large shrimp for juicier bites.
  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or linguine) Cook according to package instructions.
  • 4 tablespoons butter For sautéing.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust according to your garlic preference.
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional) Can be substituted with lemon juice.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. If using, pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp and garlic sauce until everything is well combined.
  8. Serve in bowls, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges, alongside crispy garlic bread.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For best reheating results, warm on the stove over low heat with a splash of water or broth.
