Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and half and half until well combined.
- Stir in the gruyere cheese, parmesan cheese, and crab meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the store-bought pie crust into a pie dish.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.
Baking
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly browned on top.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to a month. Reheat in the oven for best results. Variations include using shrimp or sautéed spinach instead of crab.
