Ingredients
  

Seafood and Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Jumbo shrimp Fresh or thawed
  • 1 lb Crab Fresh or thawed
  • 1 lb Andouille sausage Sliced
  • 4 medium Potatoes Cut into quarters
  • 4 large Eggs Optional, for added protein
  • 4 ears Corn on the cob Cut in half
Seasoning and Cooking Essentials
  • 2 tbsp Cajun spices Adjust according to preference
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 cup Butter For drizzling over seafood
  • 8 cups Water For boiling
  • 1 tbsp Salt To taste
  • 1 large Lemon For serving, cut into wedges

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add cajun spices and salt.
  2. Add potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Toss in andouille sausage and corn; cook for another 5 minutes.
  2. Place jumbo shrimp and crab into the pot, followed by the eggs.
  3. Cook until shrimp turns pink and crab is heated through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Drain the pot and transfer seafood and vegetables to a serving platter.
Serving
  1. In a separate pan, melt butter and mix in minced garlic; pour over seafood.
  2. Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy!

Notes

Got leftovers? This Seafood Boil will keep in the fridge for about 3 days if stored in an airtight container. You can freeze it for up to 3 months, separating shellfish from veggies for best texture. Reheat gently to avoid overcooking the shrimp.
