Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats and vegetable broth (or water). Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the oats are cooked to your desired consistency.
  2. Stir in the milk for extra creaminess.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir in freshly chopped herbs.
  5. Serve in a bowl and top with your choice of sautéed vegetables, a poached egg, or cheese. Enjoy!

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. If freezing, it lasts for up to 2 months without toppings. Reheat before eating.
