Dumpling Dough
  • as needed dough for dumplings (flour and water mixture) Ensure the dough is rolled thin for best results.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, chicken broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, chopped green onions, and salt and pepper until well combined.
  2. Roll out the dumpling dough and cut it into circles.
Assembly
  1. Place a small amount of the filling in the center of each dough circle.
  2. Gather the edges of the dough and pinch to seal, ensuring there are no gaps.
Cooking
  1. Steam the dumplings in a steamer basket for about 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

These dumplings can be stored in the fridge for about 3 days or frozen for later use. Reheat by steaming from frozen or after thawing. Experiment with filling variations and herbs for extra flavor.
