Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 slices slices of bread Use your favorite type of bread.
  • 2 slices slices of cheese Cheddar or your choice.
  • 2-3 pieces roasted jalapeños, chopped Add more for extra heat.
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese spread
  • 1 tablespoon butter For grilling.
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Spread cream cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice.
  3. Add chopped roasted jalapeños on top of the cream cheese.
  4. Place a slice of cheese on top of the jalapeños, then cover it with the second slice of bread (buttered side out).
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  2. Slice and serve hot!

Notes

For an extra twist, use multigrain bread or swap in vegan cheese and butter. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet for best results.
