Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 tortillas tortillas Use fresh tortillas for best results.
  • 8 oz cream cheese Spread evenly; use extra at the edges to seal.
  • 12 slices deli meats (ham, turkey, etc.) Choose your favorite deli meats.
  • 4 slices cheese Use any type of cheese slices.
  • 1 cup spinach or lettuce Wash and dry before use.
  • 1 cup peppers Sliced into thin strips.
  • 1/2 cup olives Sliced or whole, as per preference.
Dessert Variation Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup jelly For dessert pinwheels.
  • 1/2 cup nut butter For dessert pinwheels.
  • 1 cup fruit slices Your choice of fruits.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  2. Spread a layer of cream cheese evenly over the tortilla.
  3. Add your choice of deli meats, cheese slices, spinach, and other desired fillings on top of the cream cheese.
  4. Roll the tortilla tightly from one end to the other.
  5. Slice the rolled tortilla into pinwheels.
  6. For dessert pinwheels, spread jelly or nut butter on the tortilla, add fruit slices, roll, and slice.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate before serving.

Notes

These pinwheels can be prepared a day in advance and stored tightly wrapped in the fridge. They stay fresh for about 3 days. A hint of creativity in flavors can elevate your pinwheels.
