  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional) adds warmth to the dish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the sliced peaches with syrup into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
  5. If desired, sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the cake is cooked through.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

For best results, don't skip the cinnamon. You can store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days, and reheat in the microwave or oven.
