Ingredients
  

Peach Mixture
  • 4 cups fresh or canned peaches Use ripe, juicy peaches for best flavor.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Topping
  • 1 box yellow cake mix Try different flavors for variation.
  • 1 cup butter (melted) Can substitute with coconut oil for a vegan option.
  • 1 cup water Do not mix with other ingredients.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine peaches, sugar, and cinnamon. Spread this mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peach mixture.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix evenly.
  5. Pour water over the top. (Do not mix!)
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream for added indulgence.

Notes

This cobbler can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days. It also freezes well. Reheat in the oven for a fresh-out-of-the-oven experience.
