Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 large large potatoes Russet potatoes are recommended for the best texture.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Can be substituted with other cheeses if desired.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can be replaced with melted butter for richer flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional) Adds color and freshness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes, then cut them into wedges.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Baking
  1. Spread the potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the potatoes.
  3. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until crispy and golden brown, turning them halfway through.
  4. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For even crispier potatoes, ensure the wedges are not touching on the baking sheet. Consider pre-soaking them in water for 30 minutes before seasoning for extra crispiness. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
