Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease or line a baking dish.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, stir together olive oil and melted butter.
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
- Dip each pork chop into the butter mixture, then press firmly into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides.
- Place the coated pork chops in the prepared baking dish.
Cooking
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- For a crispier top, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end if desired.
Serving
- Rest pork chops for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if using.
Notes
Consider using panko instead of regular breadcrumbs for extra crunch. Let your pork chops come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking for even cooking. A sprinkle of lemon juice right before serving can elevate the flavors beautifully.
