Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed Oreos.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Layer with cookie dough over the brownie layer.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and spread evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
Serve warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce for extra flair. Store in an airtight container for about 5 days at room temperature, or up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
