  • 4 large 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup 1 cup of heavy cream Can be substituted with half-and-half or Greek yogurt
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup of chopped onions (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and spread the cooked bacon and shredded cheese evenly on the bottom. Add chopped onions if desired.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the filling, ensuring even distribution.
  6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the quiche is set and lightly golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat slices in the oven or microwave until warmed through. Pro tip: Letting the quiche cool slightly before cutting helps it hold its shape better.
