  • 8 ounces pasta Choose your favorite pasta shape.
  • 4 strips bacon, diced Crispy bacon adds flavor.
  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute turkey or chicken.
Vegetables and Liquids
  • 1 small onion, chopped Adds sweetness and flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Toast for extra flavor.
  • 1 cup beef broth Can substitute chicken or vegetable broth.
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes Canned or fresh can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Enhances flavor.
Toppings
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Melt and mix in for creaminess.
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning.
  • Chopped green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
Cooking
  1. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic to the pan. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent.
  2. Stir in beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and the cooked pasta. Cook for a few minutes until heated through.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Serve topped with crispy bacon and chopped green onions.

Notes

This dish can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days and can be frozen for up to 3 months.
