Ingredients
  

For the Fish Bites
  • 1 pound white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 each lemon, zested and juiced More zest can enhance flavor.
For the Garlic Aioli
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix together flour, salt, and pepper.
Coating and Baking
  1. Dredge each piece of fish in the flour mixture, then dip into melted butter, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  2. Place fish bites on a baking sheet and drizzle with any remaining butter.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Making the Aioli
  1. While the fish is baking, combine mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and parsley in a small bowl. Mix well.
Serving
  1. Serve the fish bites hot with the garlic aioli on the side.

Notes

These fish bites stay fresh in the fridge for about 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warm and crispy.
