Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set the rub aside.
- Pat both sides of your bone-in pork chops dry with a paper towel. Brush all sides with oil.
- Generously season all sides of the chops with the seasoning rub. Optionally, spritz with olive oil spray for extra flavor.
Cooking
- Place the pork chops in the air fryer in a single layer.
- Set the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees and cook for 10 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, flip the pork chops. Cook for another 4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees (use an instant-read thermometer).
Serving
- Let your juicy pork chops rest for about 10 minutes before serving with your favorite sides.
Notes
For optimal results, don’t skip resting the chops; it helps keep them succulent. Experiment with seasonings and don’t overload the air fryer for even cooking.
