  • 6 pieces hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 pieces jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 4 pieces strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt or to taste
  • to taste pepper or to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks, placing them in a medium bowl.
  2. Using a fork, mash the yolks until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the finely chopped jalapeño peppers, crumbled bacon, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks. Stir well until everything is evenly mixed.
  4. Generously spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed egg white halves.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle extra crumbled bacon and chopped jalapeños on top for added flavor and presentation.
  6. Chill the eggs in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

These deviled eggs can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. They are best enjoyed fresh but can be made ahead for parties. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, and customize the heat level of jalapeños.
