Ingredients
  

Bread
  • 4 pieces Italian bread or hoagie rolls Choose based on preference for texture.
Vegetables
  • 2 cups Lettuce Shredded or whole leaves.
  • 2 medium Tomatoes Sliced.
  • 1 small Red onion Thinly sliced.
  • 1 cup Bell peppers Sliced, various colors for added visual appeal.
  • 1/2 cup Olives Sliced or whole, based on preference.
Meats & Cheese
  • 4 oz Salami Sliced.
  • 4 oz Ham Sliced.
  • 4 oz Provolone cheese Sliced.
Dressing & Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing For drizzling.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the Italian bread or hoagie rolls in half.
  2. Layer the lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, bell peppers, salami, ham, and provolone cheese on the bottom half of the bread.
  3. Add olives on top and drizzle with Italian dressing.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Close the sandwich with the top half of the bread.
  6. Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters and serve immediately.

Notes

To enhance flavor, let the sandwich rest for a minute before serving. For a refreshing contrast, serve with potato chips or a Greek salad. Leftovers are good for 2-3 days when stored correctly.
