Mousse Ingredients
  • ½ cup heavy cream Ensure it is kept cold for the best results.
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Can adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavors and richness of the mousse.

Method

Brownie Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan (9x9 inches works like a charm).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and flour.
  3. Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips for an extra chocolaty goodness.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top.
  5. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Mousse Preparation
  1. While the brownies cool, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until you reach stiff peaks – this is your dreamy mousse!

Notes

Serve with a drizzle of warm fudge, a sprinkle of cocoa powder, or fresh berries for a touch of color. Keep the brownies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. For longer storage, wrap individually and freeze.
