Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 10 lb pre-cooked spiral ham
  • 1 cup Honeybaked ham glaze (homemade) Can be made with brown sugar, honey, mustard, and cloves.
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup brown sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1/2 cup honey Can be swapped with maple syrup for less sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup mustard Your choice of mustard flavor.
  • 1 tsp cloves Ground or whole, depending on taste preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.
  3. Mix together the brown sugar, honey, mustard, and cloves to create your glaze.
  4. Brush the glaze over the ham, making sure to cover it evenly.
Baking
  1. Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for about 15-18 minutes per pound.
  2. Every 30 minutes, baste the ham with the remaining glaze.
  3. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  4. Allow the ham to rest before slicing and serving.

Notes

Allowing the ham to rest improves the flavor. Serve warm with roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, or a tangy salad. Offer various mustards or butters on the side for additional flavor.
