  • 1/2 cup honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Low-sodium soy sauce can be used.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic recommended for the best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar Adds acidity to balance sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger Fresh ginger for a stronger flavor can also be used.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and ginger.
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cooking
  1. Place the pork chops in your slow cooker and pour the honey-garlic mixture over them.
  2. Set your crock pot on low for about 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours until the pork is tender and infused with flavor.
Serving
  1. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently to retain tenderness.
