Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup almond flour Can substitute with coconut flour.
  • 1/4 cup sugar Add more for sweeter buns.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp instant yeast
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup warm milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 2 large eggs For vegan, substitute with flax eggs.
Toppings
  • to taste sesame seeds (optional) For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour, almond flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Baking
  1. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into buns.
  2. Place the buns on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Let the buns cool before using them for burgers.

Notes

For best results, don't rush the rising time. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat before serving.
