Preparation
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, covering all the way to the edges.
- Place two slices butter-side down in a skillet and add half the cheese on each. Top with the other bread slices, butter-side up.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet over low heat.
- Cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from the pan, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
For variations, consider using plant-based butter and vegan cheese or adding elements like sautéed mushrooms or spinach. Store leftover sandwiches in the fridge for up to 3 days or in the freezer for a month.
