Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Then, add sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
- Slowly stir in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean or fudgy.
- Allow to cool, cut into squares, and enjoy!
Notes
For extra indulgence, serve with vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of caramel or chocolate sauce, or a sprinkle of nuts. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. You may freeze them for up to three months.
