- Gather all ingredients and grab your trusty 10-inch skillet.
- Heat the olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef and break it into crumbles. Cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onions. Stir occasionally, letting them caramelize to a deep brown.
- Add minced garlic and dried thyme to the onions, sauté for about 1 minute.
- Return the beef to the skillet. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Lightly toast the hamburger buns.
- Scoop a generous amount of the beef mixture onto each bun and top with Swiss cheese.
