  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch For coating chicken
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil For frying
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce For flavoring
  • 3 tbsp Honey Adds sweetness
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha Adjust based on spice preference
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Green onions Chopped for garnishing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and coat with cornstarch.
  2. Let the coated chicken rest for about 10 minutes to enhance crispiness.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the chicken until crispy and golden brown.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sriracha, and minced garlic to create the sauce.
  4. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

This dish can be served over rice or veggies. For a twist, add chopped peanuts or cashews for extra crunch. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months.
