Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  4. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  5. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  6. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  7. Mix in the flour until just incorporated.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Slice and serve plain, or top with butter, peanut butter, or chocolate sauce for an indulgent treat. Store in the fridge for 4-5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
