Ingredients
  

For the shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
For the coating
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can also be used for extra crunch.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can be used for bolder flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the shrimp along the back to butterfly them, then lay them flat on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat each shrimp with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until shrimp are cooked through and breadcrumbs are golden.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

For best results, serve the shrimp on a vibrant plate with lemon wedges and a side of dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 months, though the texture may change slightly.
