  • 1 piece pre-made pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
Filling
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as Swiss or cheddar)

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and blind bake it for 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.
  5. Stir in the diced ham, chopped spinach, and shredded cheese until well combined.
  6. Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden.
  8. Allow it to cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Allow the quiche to cool slightly before slicing to help it hold its shape. You can swap ham for bacon or sautéed veggies for variations. This quiche can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
