  • 6 large eggs Start with eggs at room temperature for even cooking.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Adds flavor to the yolk mixture.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Paprika For garnish.
  • Chopped chives or bacon bits (optional) For additional garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the eggs in a pot, cover them with water, and boil for about 10-12 minutes.
  2. Remove the eggs from the hot water and run them under cold water until cool. Peel off the shells.
  3. Slice each egg in half and scoop out the yolks into a bowl.
  4. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mash it all together until creamy.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Sprinkle with paprika and your chosen toppings.

Notes

These delectable treats don’t last long. If you have leftovers, store them in the fridge for about 3-4 days. You can also make the filling ahead of time and assemble on the day of your gathering.
