  • 2 lbs chicken breasts Use boneless, skinless chicken for best results.
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce Choose low-sodium if preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • 1 cup broccoli florets (optional) Add for color and nutrition.
For Serving
  • to taste servings cooked rice or noodles Use white or brown rice, or any noodles of your choice.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, garlic, and ginger. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  3. Optionally, add broccoli florets to the crockpot.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve over cooked rice or noodles, drizzled with extra teriyaki sauce if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently.
