Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces bone-in or boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Season both sides of the pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and ranch dressing mix until smooth.
  3. Place the pork chops into a 6-quart slow cooker in a single layer. Pour the sauce mixture over the pork chops, making sure they are fully covered.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the pork chops are tender.
  2. If the gravy is too thin, stir in a slurry made with 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon cold water. Let cook until thickened.
  3. Serve the pork chops over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. Spoon gravy generously on top and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Don't skip the garnish with fresh parsley! It adds a pop of color and a hint of freshness that elevates the dish. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for 2-3 months.
