  • 1 ea fully cooked ham (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves Optional or can be substituted with nutmeg
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the ham in a crock pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, pineapple juice, honey, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, and cloves.
  3. Pour the glaze over the ham in the crock pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through.
  5. Once done, remove the ham from the crock pot and let it rest before slicing.
  6. Serve with the remaining glaze, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For crispy edges, broil the ham for a few minutes after cooking. This ham keeps well for leftovers; refrigerate for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat low and slow to retain juiciness.
