  • 1.5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based such as almond, oat, or cow’s milk)
  • 0.5 cups softened cottage cheese Can be swapped with additional Greek yogurt.
  • 0.5 cups Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds (optional) Optional for added texture.
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen) For Berry Bliss flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together rolled oats, milk, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, chia seeds (if using), honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth (about 5 minutes).
  2. Divide the mixture evenly into five mason jars or airtight containers, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
  3. Add chosen flavor variations to each jar.
Refrigeration
  1. Seal jars tightly and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours to allow oats to soften and flavors to meld.
Serving
  1. Before eating, stir each jar to mix flavors, and add a splash of milk if oats are too thick.
  2. Optionally, add fresh toppings or nuts for extra texture.

Notes

These overnight oats can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days, or frozen for a month (leave space in the jars for expansion).
