  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup almond milk or other dairy-free milk
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter optional
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • Ice cubes optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine blueberries, banana, almond milk, and almond butter if you’re using it.
  2. Blend until smooth! Give it a good whirl.
  3. If you want a bit of sweetness, add honey or maple syrup and blend again.
  4. For a colder drink, toss in some ice cubes and blend until perfectly icy.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, add more banana or a tablespoon of oats. Substitute blueberries with your favorite berries or mango for a tropical twist. For a chocolatey flavor, add cocoa powder or spinach for added nutrition.
