Ingredients
  

Pasta and Shrimp
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
Sauce Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. When freezing, it's best to consume within a month as creamy sauces may not reheat perfectly. You can prep the sauce in advance and cook the pasta just before serving.
