  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes per side, until browned.
Assembly
  1. Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken, then dollop with cottage cheese.
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

This dish can be served over pasta or with garlic bread. It lasts 3-4 days in the fridge and can also be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight before reheating.
