Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and ground cloves.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir constantly until the brown sugar fully dissolves.
  4. Let the mixture come to a gentle simmer.
  5. Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring often, until the glaze thickens slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Brush the glaze onto your ham during the last 30 minutes of baking, reapplying every 10 minutes for that gorgeous glossy finish.

Notes

Let the mixture simmer gently for a velvety texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about one week, or freeze for up to three months.
