  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional for extra chocolate flavor.
Chocolate Glaze
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons milk Can substitute with a dairy-free option.

Method
 

Baking Brownies
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, and sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Chocolate Glaze
  1. While the brownies cool, prepare the chocolate glaze by mixing the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk until smooth.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled brownies, slice, and enjoy!
