Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted
Cheesecake Filling
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened Let it sit at room temperature.
  • 1 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs At room temperature.
  • 0.5 cups sour cream
  • 1 cups salted caramel sauce Plus extra for drizzling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Making the Cheesecake
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and mix well.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Stir in sour cream and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust.
Baking and Cooling
  1. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  2. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour.
  3. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serving
  1. Top with additional salted caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

Allowing the cheesecake to chill overnight enhances the flavor and texture. Serve with fresh berries for added color and taste.
