Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
For Serving
  • Cooked rice, pasta, or crusty bread Choose one or more as accompaniments

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and cooked through.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Return the shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Serve over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove or microwave. For long-term storage, freeze for up to 1 month.
